About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned janitorial and maintenance company, is hiring enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to work at a client site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player. Interstate emphasizes employee recognition, career development, and promotion from within. Morning and evening shifts are available. Pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

The role involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including bathrooms and breakrooms. Duties may include other tasks related to the position as assigned.

Requirements

• Able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
