About The Position

National Fitness Partners is hiring a full-time Cleaner at its Jenkintown, Pennsylvania club. The Cleaner helps provide members with a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment. Starting pay is $12 per hour, with an additional $1-per-hour differential for work between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Hourly pay increases are available at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; continual standing and walking; frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching; and continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily cleaning checklist and ensure all tasks are finished.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and the gym floor.
• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and locker areas.
• Properly dispose of trash.
• Stock supplies throughout the club and in locker rooms.
• Report broken or missing amenities and equipment to the Club Manager.
