About The Position

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, operates more than 200 clubs and serves over one million members. The Cleaner helps provide club members with a clean, sanitized, and safe environment by completing daily cleaning tasks and reporting broken or missing amenities or equipment. This is a full-time, third-shift position at the Columbia, Pennsylvania location. Pay starts at an undisclosed hourly rate, with increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter, based on the employee’s anniversary date.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to stand and walk continually during the shift.
• Must be able to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch frequently during the shift.
• Must be able to reach continually with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior custodial experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily cleaning checklist thoroughly and ensure all tasks are finished.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and the gym floor.
• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and locker areas.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Stock supplies throughout the club and in locker rooms.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
