Cleaner/Porter - Casual
About The Position
As a Cleaner/Porter, you will be assigned to work across multiple locations and various shifts as requested by management. Your responsibilities will encompass common area cleaning and washrooms at assigned locations, kitchen area cleaning and sanitization, collecting and transporting garbage, sweeping and mopping floors and vacuuming carpets, high dusting common areas, cleaning windows, operating the auto scrubber, operating the carpet extractor, adapting to different facility layouts and cleaning protocols across multiple work sites, and performing additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
- Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
- A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
