About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Day Porter Cleaner to perform cleaning duties that keep assigned facilities clean, safe, and orderly. The role helps maintain workplace appearance and sanitation and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The listed hourly rate is $20.20; an individual offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

Requirements

• Must have 1 to 2 years of janitorial experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Commercial building cleaning or major hotel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
