About The Position

Bunzl Safety is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner/Porter for its Minneapolis, Minnesota facility. The role maintains cleanliness and organization throughout warehouse, production, and common areas, helping support a safe, efficient, and productive workplace. The Porter manages waste and recycling, maintains employee facilities, and performs general housekeeping while working with warehouse and operations teams to uphold company standards for safety, cleanliness, and workplace presentation. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require, including short-notice overtime when necessary.
• Positive attitude and focus on supporting overall facility operations.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning and material handling equipment.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, janitorial, facility maintenance, or industrial cleaning experience.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Remove cardboard, packaging materials, and other debris from warehouse and production areas.
• Operate baling equipment safely and efficiently to process recyclable materials.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked employee restrooms.
• Clean and maintain break rooms and common areas daily.
• Operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Support warehouse housekeeping initiatives and facility improvement efforts.
• Follow company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
