About The Position

Bunzl Safety is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner/Porter for its facility in Piperton, Tennessee. The role supports daily warehouse operations by keeping warehouse, production, employee, and common areas clean, organized, and free of debris. The position helps maintain a safe, efficient, and productive workplace through waste and recycling management, facility upkeep, and general housekeeping. The Warehouse Porter works with warehouse and operations teams to uphold company safety, cleanliness, and workplace presentation standards.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Overtime may be required based on company needs, including on short notice. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations, wear required personal protective equipment, and safely operate cleaning and material-handling equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse, janitorial, facility maintenance, or industrial cleaning experience.
• Forklift or material-handling equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Remove cardboard, packaging materials, and other debris from warehouse and production areas.
• Safely and efficiently operate baling equipment to process recyclable materials.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked employee restrooms.
• Clean and maintain break rooms and common areas daily.
• Operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Support warehouse housekeeping initiatives and facility improvement efforts.
• Follow company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
