About The Position

This is a one-year appointment, with the possibility of continued employment depending on the evolving needs of the School. Bring your passion for classical languages, inquiry-driven teaching, and student mentorship to St. Mark’s as we inspire students to engage deeply with the ancient world and its enduring influence on contemporary life. At St. Mark’s, we believe the study of classical languages and cultures develops intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the human experience. Our classrooms encourage students to wrestle with ideas, communicate thoughtfully, and build confidence as learners and community members. Teaching here is more than what happens in the classroom. As a faculty member, you’ll also serve as an advisor, coach, and mentor, helping students navigate school, discover new interests, and grow into their best selves. Our community thrives on collaboration and connection, and we’re looking for educators who are excited to engage fully in all aspects of residential school life. Housing may be available for this position.
