About The Position

Willis Knighton is seeking a Class Instructor to teach classes, including water aerobics and group exercise. The instructor designs exercise routines and workouts suited to participants of different ages and abilities, selects appropriate music at the correct BPM, and keeps exercise and CPR certifications current. The instructor demonstrates correct form, uses verbal or visual cues when needed, and assesses members to determine their individual class needs. The successful candidate must attend a hospital-wide orientation upon hire.

Requirements

• Certified Group Exercise Instructor, or a certificate from a nationally recognized aerobic organization such as AFAA, NASM, Fitour, or SCW.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach water aerobics and group exercise classes.
