About The Position

Bunzl is hiring a driver to safely operate a Class B tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles and deliver goods to customer locations. Drivers represent the company and serve as key customer contacts. The position is Monday through Friday and pays $26 per hour. The driver performs vehicle inspections, follows traffic laws and safety regulations, maintains driving logs and paperwork, and manages cargo loading and unloading. The role also includes providing excellent customer service and promptly reporting vehicle maintenance issues to management. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Clean driving record based on fleet safety standards.
Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading and unloading responsibilities.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Ability to pass background checks and drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of driving experience.
Experience with GPS and routing software.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate a Class B tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Deliver goods safely and on time to customer locations, both locally and over long distances.
Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs and paperwork on time.
Load and unload cargo and ensure items are safely secured.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Maintain the vehicle and promptly report issues to management.
