About The Position

Bunzl is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles and deliver goods to customer locations. Drivers serve as company ambassadors and key customer contacts. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at $25 per hour. Duties include vehicle inspections, safe and timely deliveries, cargo handling, customer service, maintaining required logs and paperwork, and reporting vehicle maintenance issues.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record under Bunzl fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform loading and unloading.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver goods safely and on time to local and long-distance customer locations.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs and paperwork on time.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure items are securely fastened.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain the vehicle and promptly report issues to management.
