About The Position

Cavalier Distributing Company is hiring a delivery driver to safely and courteously deliver premium beverage products to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts using a company truck. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, offering a four-day work week. The role pays $25.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience, and offers the potential to earn more than $9,000 per year in performance and safety bonuses. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered. Full-time benefits begin after 60 days. Occasional overnight stays are required; hotel accommodations and a $50 per diem are provided.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, unexpired Class A CDL.
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Understand traffic laws and demonstrate a commitment to defensive driving.
• Have excellent communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
• Have basic math skills for order and delivery paperwork.
• Be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and follow INDOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and maneuver beverage products, generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report safety issues.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and perform cash management duties with integrity.
• Provide customer service that reflects the company’s professional standards.
