About The Position

Cavalier Distributing Company is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to safely and courteously deliver beverage products to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts using a company truck. The position operates Tuesday through Friday and offers a four-day work week. Drivers handle product generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds, complete vehicle inspections, maintain delivery paperwork, and perform cash management duties. Occasional overnight stays are required; hotel accommodations and a $50 per diem are provided.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, unexpired Class A CDL.
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Have a thorough understanding of traffic laws and a commitment to defensive driving.
• Have excellent communication skills and a customer service orientation.
• Have basic math skills for order and delivery paperwork.
• Be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Be able to handle products generally weighing between 30 and 165 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and comply with INDOT safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and maneuver products weighing generally between 30 and 165 pounds.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and handle cash management duties with integrity.
• Provide exceptional customer service to delivery accounts.
