About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring a Local/Regional Class A Dry Van Driver for its team in Kimball, Nebraska. The route runs from Kimball to Colorado and Utah, and drivers may be away from home three to four nights per week, with weekly home time. Drivers average $80,000–$110,000 per year, and a $7,500 sign-on bonus is available. Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay. The driver operates tractor-trailer units and other vehicles while following safety practices and applicable company and Department of Transportation requirements. Responsibilities include managing vehicle weights and utilization, handling and securing hazardous and non-hazardous waste loads, placarding vehicles, and maintaining required operational and vehicle records.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
Operate tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of units.
Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads properly.
Placard vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
