About The Position

Drive dedicated local shuttle routes hauling grocery freight between distribution centers and relay yards. Drivers start and finish their day at the same yard and receive daily home time. The operation includes no-touch, drop-and-hook refrigerated freight, automatic tractors, and consistent local routes, with an average of 5–10 shuttles per day and a minimum of three shuttles daily. Freight is stable year-round, and drivers may assist with additional local work when available. Uniforms are provided and maintained. No deliveries are made in New York City.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Comfortable with slip seating.
• Strong safety record and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Willingness to assist with store deliveries, backhauls, intermodal work, and other dedicated accounts when needed.
• Ability to safely operate refrigerated equipment in all weather conditions.
