About The Position
Major Carrier is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a Texas Regional Dedicated Intermodal position. This role offers home weekly for a 34-hour reset, with schedules available Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Drivers will be responsible for picking up and dropping off containers along railways, with a drop and hook, no-touch freight model. The lanes will include runs from the Wilmer area to Paris, Pineville, Abilene, Georgetown, and other long-haul destinations, offering high mileage and consistent freight. Drivers can expect an average of 2100 dedicated miles per week with a weekly average of $1600. Pay is based on verifiable experience, ranging from $0.52 to $0.60 per mile.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- No incidents within the past year
- CDL address must match hiring area
- 6 months of 53' tractor-trailer experience within the last year
- No termination from a previous driving job
- No SAP drivers
- Must pass a hair follicle drug screening
Responsibilities
- Picking up and dropping off containers along the railways
