About The Position

The Class A CDL Local Truck Driver operates a dedicated local support fleet from the West Haven yard at 4 Industry Drive, West Haven, CT, servicing the North Hatfield hub. Drivers use tractor-trailers equipped with lift-gates, and each workday begins and ends at the West Haven yard. Reliable personal transportation to and from the yard is required. Estimated annual gross earnings are $100,000–$110,000. Pay includes $0.52–$0.56 per mile, a $50 daily shift rate contingent on completing all five scheduled workdays, $42 per stop inside NYC boroughs, $45 lift-gate pay, $21 drop-and-hook pay, and detention compensation in 15-minute increments. Safety orientation is paid at $20 per hour. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Dispatches begin between 1:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.; shifts average 12–14 hours. Days off are Sunday and one designated weekday, which is guaranteed not to be Monday. Mandatory six-day workweeks apply during peak holiday shipping seasons. Requirements

At least 9 months of verified Class-A tractor-trailer experience.
Pass pre-employment screening, including a hair follicle test and a urine drug screen.
Have reliable personal transportation to commute to and from the West Haven yard daily.
