About The Position

Pratt Logistics is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for routes based in Sandston, Virginia. The position offers hourly pay of $25, a $2,200 sign-on bonus, and a $1,000 referral bonus. Drivers have daily home time and consistent freight, with approximately 80% drop-and-hook operations using 53-foot dry vans and late-model equipment. The driver safely operates a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned routes, delivers freight safely and on time, completes vehicle inspections, maintains DOT and delivery documentation, communicates professionally with dispatch and customers, and follows applicable safety requirements. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions, issued by the state declared as the driver's permanent domicile.
At least one year of commercial driving experience is stated in the initial requirements; the qualifications section separately requires three years of verifiable CMV experience (12 months or 150,000 miles).
Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements, including a DOT physical exam and drug test at a company-approved facility.
Ability to read, write, speak, and clearly understand English.
Valid Social Security Card.
No reckless-driving violations or license suspensions within the last ten years.
Must meet the listed limits on moving violations and at-fault accidents.
No failed or refused drug or alcohol test.
Must meet the listed restrictions regarding felony convictions, controlled-substance events, crimes against another person, misdemeanors, and DWI, DUI, BAC, or open-container convictions.
Present a clean and professional appearance.
Successfully complete the Corrugated Logistics road test.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned routes.
Deliver freight safely and on time.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain DOT and delivery documentation.

Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.
Submit a complete and accurate DOT application, including a seven-year MVR and a record of employment, unemployment, self-employment, and education for the past ten years; activities within the last three years must be verifiable.
Complete the Corrugated Logistics road test.
