About The Position

Ruan is hiring local Class A CDL truck drivers in San Francisco, California to haul grocery products for a dedicated Whole Foods account. Drivers will make multi-stop deliveries and unload using an electric pallet jack. This is a union operation with schedules awarded based on seniority. The position offers union benefits and features home daily schedules, average annual earnings of $80K-$90K, a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, and overtime after 8 hours per day. Drivers will operate late-model equipment for a dedicated Whole Foods account and receive weekly pay. Ruan is an established transportation company with over 90 years in business.

Requirements

Must be at least 22 years old.
Valid Class A CDL.
At least 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
Must meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must create a profile with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire.
Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway signs and safety instructions, respond to official inquiries, communicate with the public, and complete required reports and records.
Snow chaining experience is required for drivers operating Reno and Tahoe routes year-round.
