About The Position

The Claims Intake Analyst interacts with insured customers when they report a loss and performs an initial review of coverage. The role ensures that initial claim investigations are completed accurately and promptly, and works with multiple departments and functions to resolve customer issues. It also facilitates workflow between field and home offices and provides a full range of administrative office and management support. The analyst performs other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to operate independently and prioritize assignments.
• Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints.
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and oral interpersonal skills, including critical listening.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills, with creative problem-solving ability.
• Typing proficiency and computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new technologies.
• College degree or equivalent experience; relevant experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Background in the insurance, healthcare, or law industries is preferred.
• Relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
