Claims Adjuster I
About The Position
The Claims Adjuster I investigates, evaluates, and settles claims arising from physical damage to vehicles and customer or third-party property, as well as small bodily injury claims and limited personal injury protection claims. Settlements may be made through denial, compromise, or payment. The role works under the direction of the Claims Supervisor in the claims office and requires in-depth knowledge of managed risks, products offered, and insurance investigation techniques. This is a fully onsite position in Omaha, Nebraska. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle vehicle and property damage claims, small bodily injury claims, and limited personal injury protection claims through denial, compromise, or payment.
- Obtain authorization from the Claims Supervisor to pay claims exceeding the role’s authority.
- Perform claims-office duties requiring in-depth knowledge of risks under management, products offered, and insurance investigation techniques.
- Maintain the integrity of proprietary information.
