About The Position

ESP Associates, Inc. is hiring a Summer 2027 Civil Engineering Intern to support Municipal Infrastructure engineering projects in its Fort Mill, South Carolina office. The internship offers an opportunity for a student interested in infrastructure design and stormwater management to explore a career path in these areas. The position may involve infrastructure design and preparation of construction documents for roads, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities, water and sewer utilities, sediment and erosion control, and traffic control.

ESP is a multidisciplinary engineering design and consulting firm whose professionals work across engineering, surveying, planning, environmental, geosciences, subsurface utility engineering, and construction engineering inspection. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology curriculum.
• Strong desire to learn.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D is preferred.
• EI is preferred.
