About The Position

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Civil Engineering Intern to support Municipal Infrastructure engineering projects in its Fort Mill, South Carolina office. The role offers students an opportunity to explore a career in infrastructure design and stormwater management within a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm. The firm describes a collaborative team environment with opportunities to participate in team outings, volunteer events, step challenges, summer celebrations, and other activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology curriculum.
• Strong desire to learn.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D.
• EI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure design projects.
• Prepare construction documents for roads, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities, water and sewer utilities, sediment and erosion control, and traffic control.
