About The Position
Marshall Dennehey, a leading Am Law 200 civil defense law firm with more than sixty years of service to corporate, insurance, and individual clients, is seeking a Civil Defense Attorney for its New Haven, Connecticut office. The attorney will assist in defending rideshare liability, product liability, and general liability cases. The role is suited to an attorney with at least five years of litigation experience who wants to build a long-term litigation career through mentoring, meaningful responsibility, and client interaction. The practice is team-based and collaborative, with meaningful client interaction and opportunities for professional development and practice growth. The attorney will work closely with experienced shareholders and associates and is not expected to independently manage cases from inception through trial on day one. Hands-on experience, continuous feedback, and individualized goal-setting will support development toward full case management. Strong analytical thinking, legal writing, research, and communication skills are valued and developed within the litigation groups. The compensation range is $125,000–$165,000, depending on the type and level of litigation experience.
