About The Position
Marshall Dennehey, P.C., an Am Law 200 civil defense firm with more than sixty years of service, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Scranton, Pennsylvania office. The role is intended for an attorney with 0–5 years of civil litigation experience and offers early responsibility, meaningful exposure to complex, high-exposure cases for Fortune 500 clients, and opportunities for client interaction and professional development. Associates work in a collaborative, team-based practice under the direction of senior attorneys. The hands-on role may involve taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing substantive motions, and litigating cases from inception to resolution. Matters may include premises and retail liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defect, and commercial auto/trucking litigation. Some cases involve catastrophic losses, multiple claimants, or fatalities. The firm provides mentorship, hands-on experience, continuous feedback, and individualized goal-setting to support associates as they develop toward full case management. Requirements
- 0–5 years of civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities
