Requirements

Friendly, patient, and comfortable assisting customers from varying cultural and economic backgrounds.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with competing tasks and priorities.
Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from customers and staff.
Flexible, positive, and willing to work with staff and colleagues to successfully overcome challenges.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with previous customer service experience.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Google Workspace experience (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail)

Responsibilities

Perform circulation functions, including checking items in and out and processing daily deliveries.
Process Library cards and payments for customers.
Assist customers in both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
Provide assistance to customers with Library equipment.
Assist with other library-related projects.
