About The Position

The CIP Technician is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and completing Master Sanitation Schedule tasks in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies. The role supports food safety, quality, and compliance throughout the facility. This is a full-time, first-shift position scheduled from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a base pay of $23.00 per hour. The position reports to the Sanitation Manager.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of sanitation or cleaning experience preferred.
• Food processing sanitation or chemical handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP cleaning of filling machines and production equipment.
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings, vents, piping, and exterior equipment surfaces.
• Safely handle chemicals, sanitation tools, and steam-driven hot water hoses.
• Respond to sanitation emergencies, including spills and tank cleaning.
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and COP tanks.
• Perform chemical titrations and transport chemical drums as needed.
• Follow HACCP, GMP, PPE, and all food safety procedures.
• Complete sanitation documentation and maintain cleaning records.
• Participate in training, meetings, and team activities.
• Work independently while maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
