About The Position

The CIP Operator prepares and sanitizes equipment used to produce food products at Conagra Brands’ Council Bluffs, Iowa manufacturing facility. The role includes inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, and disassembling and reassembling equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures while meeting GMP, safety, and 5S standards. The operator prepares production equipment for cleaning using Lockout Tagout procedures, performs visual and swab checks to assess sanitation effectiveness, and conducts pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections with attention to minimizing downtime. The position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and works on third shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The hourly rate is $23.42.

Requirements

• Lockout Tagout certified.
• Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean equipment and work areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to company policy and procedure while meeting GMP, safety, and 5S standards.
• Prepare production equipment for cleaning by following Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Perform periodic visual and swab checks to verify sanitation effectiveness.
• Carry out pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections while keeping equipment downtime to a minimum.
