About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring a CIP Operator at its manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The position prepares and sanitizes equipment used to produce food products, helping maintain food safety, cleanliness, and plant standards. The role includes inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, and disassembling and reassembling equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures while meeting GMP, safety, and 5S standards. The operator prepares production equipment for cleaning in accordance with Lockout Tagout procedures, performs periodic visual and swab checks to assess sanitation effectiveness, and conducts pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections with attention to minimizing downtime. The role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and is part of a team of about 60. This is a third-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, at 1023 S 4th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51503. The hourly rate is $23.42.

Requirements

Lockout Tagout certified.
Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Inspect and clean equipment and work areas.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to company policies and procedures.
Meet GMP, safety, and 5S standards.
Prepare production equipment for cleaning, following Lockout Tagout procedures.
Perform periodic visual and swab checks to verify sanitation effectiveness.
Carry out pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections while keeping downtime to a minimum.
