About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring a CIP Operator at its Council Bluffs, Iowa manufacturing facility. The position prepares and sanitizes equipment used to make food products, while helping maintain plant cleanliness and food safety standards. The operator inspects and cleans equipment and work areas, disassembles and reassembles equipment according to company policy and procedure, and ensures GMP, safety, and 5S standards are met. The role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and joins a team of about 60.

This is a third-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The hourly rate is $23.42. The facility is located at 1023 S 4th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.

Requirements

• Lockout Tagout certified.
• Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean equipment and work areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to company policy and procedure.
• Prepare production equipment for cleaning while following Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Conduct periodic visual and swab checks to assess sanitation effectiveness.
• Perform pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections with attention to minimizing downtime.
• Help ensure GMP, safety, and 5S standards are met.
