About The Position

The Cigarette Stocker is responsible for efficiently and accurately stocking cigarette products in a transportation and warehousing environment. The role involves organizing inventory in accordance with safety and regulatory standards, checking product quality and expiration dates, and supporting supply chain operations. The position works collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to help maintain the flow of goods, meet delivery schedules and customer demands, and support warehouse operations in New Albany, MS.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of stock control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to tobacco products.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in warehousing, stocking, or inventory control, preferably within the transportation or tobacco industry.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
• Ability to work early mornings.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Organize and stock cigarette products in designated warehouse locations in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area to comply with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate stock movements and support timely order fulfillment.
• Verify product quality and expiration dates.
• Handle shipments and maintain stock levels using safe lifting techniques.
