About The Position

Churches across the Louisville, Kentucky metro area are seeking child care providers for their nurseries and Children’s Ministries. Jobs may take place during service times, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available on Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum weekly hours required. Opportunities are available across the Louisville metro area, including Louisville, St. Matthews, Jeffersontown, Middletown, Prospect, Shepherdsville, Shively, and surrounding communities. The platform also provides access to babysitting and nannying jobs with families. To get started, create a profile on the SitterTree app, view available nearby jobs, and pass a background check to apply and get booked. Payment is issued within 24 hours after each job. Most jobs pay $20–$25 or more per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, or similar.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric.
