About The Position

Churches across the Bristol, Tennessee area are seeking child care providers to work in their nursery or Children's Ministry during service times, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose their schedule and decide when and where they would like to work. Jobs are available across the Bristol and Tri-Cities area, including Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport, Blountville, Bluff City, Piney Flats, Elizabethton, and surrounding communities. Providers may also access babysitting and nannying jobs with families through the app. To get started, create a profile, view available jobs, and pass a background check to apply and get booked. Payment is made within 24 hours after each job. Most jobs pay $20–$25+ per hour, and there is no minimum number of hours required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare or preschool worker, or early learning center teacher, among other relevant roles.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.

Responsibilities
