About The Position

Churches across the Colorado Springs, Colorado area are seeking child care providers to work in nurseries or Children's Ministry during services, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum weekly hours. Opportunities are available in Colorado Springs, Fountain, Security-Widefield, Monument, Falcon, Manitou Springs, and surrounding communities. Providers may also access babysitting and nannying jobs with families through the app. To get started, create a profile on the SitterTree app, view available local jobs, and pass a background check to apply and get booked. Payment is issued within 24 hours after each job. Compensation is $20–$25+ per hour; the stated compensation range is $20.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare or preschool worker, or early learning center teacher.
Experience with infant and toddler care, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.
