About The Position

The Children's Services Coordinator provides oversight and supervision to the Family and Community Partnership content area of the Head Start/Early Head Start Program. The position oversees parent involvement and social services activities and provides linkages with community agencies.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Social Work, Family Services, Social Services, or a related field. A degree is considered related only if it includes six or more courses in one of the listed fields.
• Two years of experience working with families, including experience with a family-centered family strengths model, resource and referral, case management, or similar work.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire, and keep certifications current. Certifications must meet the requirements in the document “BLS / CPR / ACLS & First Aid Training Resources” posted on Staurolite.
• Successful completion of a post-offer health exam, with annual exams thereafter in accordance with PMS policies.
• Successful completion of a TB test and additional testing upon exposure in accordance with PMS policies.
• Successful completion of criminal background checks.
