About The Position

Axcess is hiring a Children’s Personal Care Aide to provide in-home support to a child with special needs. The role focuses on supervision, personal care, and daily assistance to ensure the child’s safety and well-being while providing families with peace of mind. Axcess is a home care provider serving children with special needs and disabilities across South Carolina, contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) to provide aide services to eligible children. The company is hiring for multiple clients throughout the state. The position is located in Gaffney, South Carolina, with work scheduled Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physically able to assist a child with special needs.
• Valid driver’s license and insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the child and monitor safety.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide diapering and incontinence care.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with daily activities and routines.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the child’s care.
