About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is hiring reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in-person. Company lesson plans and equipment are provided, and the goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players.

Regular coach opportunities may involve tennis and other programs, with pay of $18–$24 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule of approximately 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Back-to-back sessions may be available. Saturday tennis clinic opportunities pay $18–$24 per hour and are scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with back-to-back sessions available. These coaching opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills.

Coaches must attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with each session lasting 2–3 hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Complete required employment screening and documentation.
• Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
• Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• USPTA/PTR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes using company lesson plans.
• Manage groups of 8–16 students.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
• Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
• Take a few class photos for program documentation.
