About The Position

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a Childcare Teacher at its location in Greer, South Carolina. The role supports children’s learning and development in a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom. Foundations’ classrooms use hands-on, STEAM-focused learning and the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum. The center serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years through infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs.

The teacher helps children develop school readiness, socialization, literacy, problem-solving, self-esteem, and other life skills. The position includes communicating and building relationships with families through the center’s app. The employer offers paid training and professional development, education funding through the TEACH program, and opportunities for growth. The listed hourly pay range is $14–$18, with pay determined by education and years of experience; pay may increase with continued education, performance, and years of service.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
