About The Position

The Sunshine House is hiring a Childcare Teacher at its Blythewood, South Carolina location. Teachers help keep children safe and provide education and childcare in a nurturing early-learning environment. The role includes creating engaging classroom experiences, supporting children’s social and emotional development, and partnering with families. Teachers use Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs to foster a love of learning. The Sunshine House provides paid required professional development and supports employees who want to continue their education.

Requirements

Passion for working with young children.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.

Nice To Haves

At least 30 days of experience working in a licensed center is preferred.
Advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify candidates for higher pay.
