Childcare Teacher
About The Position
The Childcare Teacher supports the safety, education, and care of children at The Sunshine House’s school in Dallas, Georgia. The role is focused on creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for children, particularly 3–4-year-olds, and fostering their social, emotional, and educational development. Teachers use the Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs, manage classroom activities, and partner with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The Sunshine House is an early education and childcare provider serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. The company describes a 50-year history and operates more than 100 schools across 7 states. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, pay starting at $14 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on education and experience. Requirements
- Passion for working with young children.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of a CDA, TCC, or associate degree.
- Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
- Experience with lesson plans, curriculum, and classroom management with 3–4-year-old children.
