About The Position

The Childcare Teacher supports the safety, education, and care of young children at The Sunshine House’s Woodstock, Georgia school. The role focuses on creating a safe, healthy, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow; supporting children’s social and emotional development; and fostering a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. Teachers build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The position requires experience with lesson plans, curriculum, and classroom management for children ages 3–4. Applicants must be at least 18, provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass background checks and health assessments. A CDA and/or TCC is preferred. The role may require lifting up to 30 pounds to support child safety and emergencies.

Passion for working with young children.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Experience with lesson plans, curriculum, and classroom management with 3–4-year-old children.
