About The Position

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a Childcare Teacher at its Winston-Salem, North Carolina location. The role supports young children in a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment and helps them learn, play, and grow through STEAM-focused learning and the Creative Curriculum. The position involves supporting children’s social and emotional development and communicating with families through the center’s app.

The center serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years old through infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs. Foundations’ focus includes school readiness, socialization, literacy, problem-solving, self-esteem, and other life skills. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and the stated hourly pay range is $15–$17, determined by education and experience, with potential increases based on continued education, performance, and years of service.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ECD 101 required.
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
