About The Position

We are seeking Childcare Teachers to join our team in the Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms. New Horizon Academy has been a leader in early care and education for over fifty years, fostering a culture of continuous improvement based on what's best for children and staff. As an educator, you will work in beautifully equipped classrooms alongside a caring and dedicated team, with support from knowledgeable staff, helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Requirements

Meet Nebraska state licensing requirements for teacher qualification.
Experience working in ECE and in classroom management.
Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm.
Positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
Enjoy working with children.
Meet or exceed state qualifications for the listed position.
Passion for working with young children.
Interest in beginning or continuing education in early childhood education or a related field.
Ability to satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
Documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
Physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
