About The Position

CP, a locally run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is seeking caring professionals to join its Green Bay area team as Childcare Teachers. The role helps children develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically in a nurturing, safe environment. Teachers receive creative freedom, training, support, and designated time during the day to complete lesson plans. The position follows an 8-hour daytime schedule at the Suamico site, with the center open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are no night, weekend, or holiday shifts. Pay is $17–$19 per hour.

Requirements

• Have completed at least two non-credit, department-approved courses in early childhood and education, or be willing to complete the training for those credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive approach to all children.
• Plan, organize, and implement individual and group instructional activities to support children's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
• Be responsible for the safety of all children in the center, particularly those in the teacher's care.
• Work cooperatively with other staff in a team environment.
• Communicate with children and families and provide excellent customer service.
• Use positive approaches and age-appropriate behavior redirection.
• Share responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
