About The Position

The Childcare Teacher helps ensure children’s safety, education, and care in a nurturing preschool environment. The role involves supporting children’s learning and development, creating an engaging classroom, and working with families. Teachers use Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs and build partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The position is at The Sunshine House school at 1170 Old Harris Road, Dallas, GA 30157. The listed pay starts at $14 per hour, with higher pay potentially available based on early childhood education experience and advanced education. Salary evaluations and potential increases are based on factors including credentials, education, performance, and years of service.

Requirements

Passion for working with young children.
At least 18 years of age.
Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of a CDA, TCC, or associate degree.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
Experience with lesson plans, curriculum, and classroom management with children ages 3–4.
