About The Position

The Learning Experience – Riverton is seeking a warm, nurturing Childcare Teacher for its Infant Classroom. The teacher provides care in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment and supports infants’ early developmental milestones. The role includes daily infant care, developmentally appropriate activities, recordkeeping, communication with families, and collaboration with center staff. The teacher must follow state licensing regulations and center policies related to infant care.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood care.
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
Patient, compassionate, and dependable, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with families.

Nice To Haves

Coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, compassionate daily care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom setting.
Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Maintain accurate daily logs of feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap times, and developmental observations.
Communicate consistently with parents and guardians about each child’s progress and daily activities.
Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization and adhere to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
Follow state licensing regulations and center policies related to infant care.
