About The Position

The Learning Experience – Riverton is seeking a warm, nurturing Childcare Teacher for its Infant Classroom. The role provides daily care for infants in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment while supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The teacher records daily care and developmental observations, communicates with families, maintains classroom health and safety, and works with the center team to provide quality infant care. The position is part of an independently owned and operated franchise; hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood care.
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
Patient, compassionate, and dependable, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with families.

Nice To Haves

Coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, compassionate daily care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom setting.
Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Maintain accurate daily logs of feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap times, and developmental observations.
Communicate consistently with parents and guardians about each child's progress and daily activities.
Keep the classroom clean and organized and follow health and safety standards.
Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
Follow state licensing regulations and center policies related to infant care.
