About The Position

The Childcare Director in Training helps oversee the daily operations of a childcare school in accordance with state licensing requirements and company policies. Working in conjunction with a training director, the role supports the administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility. The position also partners with families to provide quality care and early education, assists with curriculum implementation and developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments, and cultivates positive relationships with families, teachers, and others. The role is based in the Aiken area. The Sunshine House provides early education and childcare for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and operates more than 100 schools across 7 states.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least 2 years of prior management experience in licensed childcare.
• Proficient computer skills in a variety of business-related programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel to area locations.

Responsibilities
