Childcare Director in Training
About The Position
The Childcare Director in Training helps oversee the daily operations of a childcare school in accordance with state licensing requirements and company policies. Working with a training director, the role supports the administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility. It also involves partnering with families, assisting with curriculum implementation and developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments, and building positive relationships with families, teachers, and others. The position is in the Aiken area and requires willingness to travel to area locations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of prior management experience in licensed childcare.
- Proficient computer skills in business-related programs, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel to area locations.
Responsibilities
- Help oversee daily childcare-school operations in conjunction with a training director and in accordance with state licensing and company policies.
- Support the administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.
- Partner with families to provide care and early education for their children.
- Assist with implementation of the curriculum, including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and others.
