About The Position

The Childcare Cook prepares nutritious meals and snacks for children in the school's care. The role also serves as an assistant teacher, participating in classroom activities and helping foster a supportive learning environment. The cook assists in guiding young learners, planning engaging activities, and building strong partnerships with parents through open communication.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in food preparation.
• Valid food handler's permit.
• Empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with children.
